Toc Toc Dance (Kicékéla)

The Toc Toc Dance is a TikTok challenge built on “Toc toc” by French entertainer Patrick Sébastien, from the 2015 album Ça va bouger!. The viral cut is the chorus: “Toc toc, on frappe à ma porte / qui c’est qu’est là?” — French for a knock at the door and “who’s there?” Outside France, many listeners hear that line as one word and call the trend Kicékéla.

The move is deliberately simple: hop on one foot in time with the beat, then mime knocking on a door with a fist when the “toc toc” hits. Deadpan face is part of the joke. It works alone in a hallway or bedroom, or as a group chain where people enter the frame one after another. French press credits the choreography to 17-year-old creator Nooah Prvv (Noah) of Compiègne (Oise), who posted the routine on TikTok; Patrick Sébastien has publicly confirmed that a teenager from Compiègne started the dance.

On TikTok the sound travels as the official track Toc toc – Patrick Sébastien and as user “original sounds” used in viral remakes. High-profile French posts include the official Gendarmerie account @gendarmerie_officiel (“Toc Toc! 🚪”). The challenge then spread through dorms, offices, figure-skating practice, student clubs, a Polish priest with his community, and K-pop acts such as TWS. CapCut lists a public template titled Toc Toc Dance Trend.
